Pressure Vacuum / Breather Valves

 The Tokheim series of Pressure Vacuum / Breather Valves are quality constructed with a sturdy iron cover and base, stainless steel valve guides, aluminum valves, valve seat, screen and weather hood. All of these quality components are used to insure years of dependable service with little maintenance. 

The Tokheim No. 80 - 2" Control Valve is a condensing unit built for the exacting requirements of maintaining the proper atmosphere in various tanks. Some common applications are: petroleum products, chemical and beverage tanks, as well as wet grain storage bins.

The main body and cover are sturdy gray iron and are protected with a high quality weatherproof enamel. Cover can be locked with a padlock or sealed with a box-car seal. The body is tapped for standard 2" pipe for connecting to the bin. The control valve base is protected with a heavy galvanized screen, and can also be retrofitted with our 85-2" Flame Arrester. • The two aluminum valves are lapped to the valve seats and tested to insure complete control of incoming and outgoing air.
• The valves are weighted for exact pressure desired. The most popular setting is 5 oz. pressure and 2 oz. vacuum. Shipping weight is 20 lbs. each.

Range of settings available:

• Pressure 1/2 oz. to 9 oz.
• Vacuum 1/2 oz. to 3-1/2 oz.

A simplified Tokheim Vapor Control System consists of a Tokheim Pressure Vacuum / Breather Valve and a Tokheim Pressure Tight Tank Gauge on each tank application.

The Tokheim Series Pressure Vacuum / Breather Valves keep a predetermined pressure on the tank preventing unnecessary escape of volatile vapors. This unit gives adequate tank venting having a full 2,6, or 10 inch pressure valve. Available in the #185 series are 2, 4,6,8 and 10 inch pipe sizes.
